There is a man who is made and ready to face the world full frontal and with a smile. A man who challenges life, dealing with impossibility with boyish excitement and energy. A man with an intrinsic winners mentality due to a simple rejection of it can’t be done’s and failure. All the while cherishing strong values and principles of friendship, love and work, he uses all skill and freedom; not to take, but to create his place in this ever frantic world. His name is Andries van Overbeeke.

In our little stones-throwing adventure as a small, Indy label against a huge, fast-paced and let’s say divergent industry, Andries is on the frontline. He is a creator, less graphic and more technical, with a keen eye for material use and three-dimensional aesthetics. A student in Industrial Design at the TU Delft, Andries is pole-vaulting at the faculty, creating the F0 Hydrogen cart followed by the Novabike race motor. His passion for automotive followed other roads as well and the list is impressive: from columnist at the immensely popular Autoblog to his F1-inspired paintings and the list goes on…

Andries helped amongst others with the creation of the Emissary, but having a curious love for the brand’s mascot, The Giant, he continuous dedicated work in breathing life into our monster. Up to this point, his work has been prototyping, but the day will come that The Giant enters your home as one of his creations. Just stay tuned…
